I've been tagged by Jo at Me and My Marbles to share my six-word memoir. This is similar to the Six-Word Financial Autobiography that I read about at iowahippiechick.
Anyway, here are the rules:
1. Write your own six-word memoir.
2. Post it on your blog and include a visual illustration if you want.
3. Link to the person who tagged you in your post.
4. Tag at least 5 more blogs.
5. Leave a comment on the tagged blogs with an invitation to play.
My six-word memoir is this: I think I finally get it!
Of course, I'm referring to my favorite mantras, which are earn, SAVE, invest, share.
Notice that SAVE is in all caps. That's because I spent all of these years being an instant gratification person and a small thinker. I finally get that if I want to go on vacation I have to save for it. I finally get it that if want to be prepared for an emergency, I have to save for it. I finally get that if I want to retire and live comfortably by December 31, 2017, I have to save for it. I could go on and on, but I think you get it.
I'm going to tag Clean and Clutter Free Simple, Canadian Saver, Finance and Fat, Family & Finances, Free From Broke.
